Ryan to Host Highway Dedication Ceremony Honoring Lebanon County Hero

WHAT: Rep. Frank Ryan (R-Lebanon) will host a ceremony marking the designation of a portion of Route 72 in Lebanon County as the William G. Carpenter Highway. Carpenter, who has lived a life of public service, is a decorated U.S. Army veteran with service in Vietnam, a long-time Lebanon County Commissioner and former member of Cornwall Borough Council. Ryan sponsored Act 23 of 2022, which designates the stretch of Route 72 from the Lancaster/Lebanon county line to the Lebanon city line at North Cornwall Township in Carpenter’s honor.

WHEN: Friday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m.

WHERE: Intersection of Quentin Road (Route 72) and Summit Street, in the Lebanon Plaza parking lot in North Cornwall Township.
